JUST A DECISION
All of us agree that there is a tendency in our society to take the way of destruction. The pathway to stay away from the “beings”. Crisis of identity in modernity has lead to the apathy and frustation. Man is searching and finding nothing except loneliness and alienation. Impact of creativity (in technology) seems to be the scapegoat to create the world of imagination. Today’s world is too much with invention in the name of efficiency and effectivity. Man has started the stairway to ”artificial” heaven – a promise as well as despair and hope of emptiness. A world where all human needs are satisfied without considering how much cost it does. New civilization has come with abundance of man-made values. Man is trying to conquer the life when at the same time reducing his authencity. The paradox of man.
This decision that I have made is not so pessimistic as man is preparing his graveyard for the death is everywhere ie. apathy, intolerance, injustice. It comes from the deepest part of my interior block that life should bring meaning. It’s a loud and voiceless sound in the silence that life is not about ambition for power, security, and pride. There is a hope for new life where people can enrich their life in harmony. A pure life where all resources are directed to the spirit of appreciative and conservation. As a “consecrated” educator the opportunity is not just to promote the value of life but to bring the Good News. Within modern perspective the Good News is a new life which is free from attachment of “economic consequences and attributes”. Man is an economic creature who always find the best alternative to satisfy his needs. The fact that dichotomy of economic creature is too dominant can be seen from – culture of material ie. the need of material satisfaction.
